  1. Off topic, but the Sixth Circuit today decided a pretty interesting corruption case, US v. Abbey. About a local public official who took some land in return for future, unspecified favors. The Sixth affirmed his conviction. (The court also quoted The Godfather in a footnote, which I personally enjoyed.)
