But just as this hearing is about to begin, we see the DOJ releasing a memo that attempts to alleviate the concerns and problems that are likely to be addressed in this hearing. The Memo from Craig S. Morford, Acting Deputy Attorney General, is titled, "Selection and Use of Monitors in Deferred Prosecution Agreements and Non-Prosecution Agreements with Corporations."
